My exercise philosophy relates primarily to health and wellness; when you are healthy and have vitality, you have everything! I aspire to teach health and wellness through fitness training. When you work with me, you will benefit from these personalized and custom-made steps in your training workout:
Fitness Assessment: body fat analysis; goniometer measurements assessing range of motion; flexibility/balance, strength, and cardiopulmonary assessments
Stretching exercises: before and after cardiopulmonary and strength training
Cardiovascular training
Strength exercises: using machines, free weights and other tools
5 years as Fitness Coach/Trainer and Group Instructor at the South Valley Family YMCA
in San Jose, CA
Lead instructor for Living Strong Living Well class
for more than 4 years: this free 12-week class, with 3 sessions per
year, is a YMCA joint venture with Stanford School of Medicine.
Kim helped cancer survivors achieve better balance, range of motion,
flexibility, cardiorespiratory fitness, and strength with weight
training, and as a result, achieve a better quality of life.
